the story of harald dawnblade takes place within the island of udyr, a large undiscovered island off the coast of norway.

deep within the large island known as udyr, there are several areas, each spanning the size of a distirct, and each contoled by a diffirent kingdom.

these areas include:

gress- human owned land, gress is a grassy forest land bellow ynde, above sne, west of sparke, and east of død.

gress is home to a group of humans that broke off from norway in the 1100's, while the rest of the human clans around the world have advanced, the human's of gress have stayed the same.

advancements of the modern world such as electricity and plumbing are completly unknown to the people of gress, gress is a landwhere the people still clean their clothes in rivers.

recently a troll clan moved into gress and started buliding camps near their towns, threatening the people.

sne- dwarf and gnome owned land, sne is a snowly mountainous area, above grådighet and below gress.

the dwarves, a race skilled in crafting and strength, were chased out of norway by speciest group of vikings, the dwarves, needing a home much like their old, set off for udyr.

the dwarves were greeted by an unexpected allie, the gnomes.

the gnomes treated the dwarves with kindness and respect, sharing their homes with the dwarves, and even their weapontry and skill.

a clan of goblins built an entire city in sne, much to the dismay and protest of the dwarves and gnomes.

ynde- high elf and dark elf owned land, ynde is a beautiful and life filled grassy forest land with areas of dead forest, it is above gress, below vennlig, south west of skjære and east of tungebelegg.

the elves have lived in ynde since the start of their race, it was the original home of thier race, but now their race has grown too large to stay in ynde, their race speard across the entire world.

there are two elven races that control ynde, the high elves and the dark elves.

the high elves are a race of pink skined elves with glowing green eyes.

known for their calss and their magic, these elves are a race of peace and grcae, many of them have a strong belief in norse paganism, worshiping the gods of valhala, namily Thor, Odin, Tyr, Freyr, Freyja and Bragi.

the high elves are known to despise loki, seeing him as the source of all evil, many high elves would much rather die then offer any praise to him.

the other race in control of ynde are the dark elves, a race of dark skined elves with glowing white (and sometimes red) eyes.

they are also known for their grace, however, dark elves often embrace dark magic, they are a race of style and villiness, but are not barbarians in the sense that they often do not war with others, and mostly focus their cruelty on eachother and those who enter their lands.

the dark elves share the high elves belief in norse mythology in some sense, they do not see Odin or the other gods as gods, and tend to worship loki and the giants, seeing them as true gods.

the dark elves and the high elves stay away from each other, they both have sides of ynde, one is lush and and alive(the high elves side) but the dark elves side is dead and burned, mostly as a resault of neglect and dark magic.

sparke- orc owned lands, sparke is a firey place, once a well populated mountain area, known for its lovely red soil and lovely rivers, a volcano eruption drove the villagers out and sent them to the other side of the human kingdom.

it is east of the gress, and below tungebelegg.

one part of sparke is a firey area with black stone, the ground is cracked and magma can be seen in the ground.

the other side is on a dormant volcano, it is rocky and dead, the stone is gray, it seems as though there are no living things in it, and many advventurers beileve that to be true, until running into the orcs.

sparke became the perfect place to plan an envasion on the humans, and to build camps no one would even go near.

there old city, deep within the firey area, was abandoned 20 years ago when the orcs old warcheif, a giant, was killed thru a combined force of the human, dwarven, gnomish, and elven empires, since then, they've been living underground in the dormant side.

10 years ago a new orcish leader was elected, creating concerns for the human, elven, and dwarven empires.

an expadition was luanched to keep an eye on the orcs, but it has yet to return.

vennlig- minotaur and centaur owned land, vennlig ressembles a desert after a large rain, vennlig even has grass slightly growing from its sand, there is a large Oasis beileved to be filled with tressure in vennlig, guraded by a golden dragon. but so far it is just legend.

vennlig is above ynde, and west of skjære.

the minotaur snd the centaur have sharded the land for more than one thousand years, until recently the two races been thru nothing but peace.

the minotaur are a peaceful, but strong race, with a strong respect for the earth.

the minotaur, originateting in north eastern side of america, fled for a better life, a life away from human owned lands, when entering vennlig, they met the centaur.

the centaur, at the time, were also a peaceful but strong race, who, like the minotaur, had a great respect for the earth.

the two races shared the land with one and other from 997 A.D. to 2003 A.D.

the centaur started to become hostile towards their allies, often firing arrows and insults at anyone who came near their side of vennlig, regardless as to whether they were minotauren or not.

the two races had always had a taste for hunting and fighting, but for some reason the centaur started wanting more, they started wanting to hunt other, smarter races, aswell as more space on the island.

the centaur cheiftan offered the minotaur cheiftan a slice of the land they concured for their support in war.

the minotaur chieftan was disgusted by his offering, even so much as spit on him, after that momment, the centaur put up a wall between both the minotaur's side and the centaur side.

recently, the centaur empire has been threatening the their former allies.

grådighet- goblin owned land, grådighet is a tropical island much much smaller then dyr island itself, it is off the coast of the island, south of sne.

the goblins, a race originating in germany, are a race of overall greed, they are about as tall as dwarves, they have green skin and long, pointy ears.

the gromgar clan, the original clan of goblins in udyr island, came to grådighet in search of gold and untapped resources.

the resources of the island were so great that it split the clan into two sides.

the gromgar caln, led by flyod gromgar is the original clan, half of their members left their group to divid the riches that would be shared.

the gromgar clan is netrual towards all the other races it shares the island with, not caring who they sell to, only that their things get sold.

the fraggletooth clan, the oposing clan, was started by redrum fraggletooth in order to gain spearate profits.

the fraggletooth clan is much more vile then the gromgar clan, they are not only a clan of greed, but a clan of villiany aswell, often stealing gold from villagers or killing miners for the gold they dig up.

recently, the fraggletooth clan as been showing more signs of a desire for conquest and power, and is starting to care less and less about gold.

tungebelegg- panmenneske owned land, tungebelegg is a wild and lovely forest, filled with bamboo trees, it resembles the south east asian part of the world.

it is west of ynde.

the land is owned by the panmenneske, a race of humanoid panda people, the panmenneske are a race of peace and kindness, they attempt to avoid war when possible.

their race originate in china.

recently, the panmenneske are starting to grow concern for the races around them.

skjære- troll and ogre owned lands, skjære is a large and musky swamp, with large trees which have roots that stick out from the ground.

the trolls and the ogres are both native to udyr, and have been bitter rival races since the very first two creatures of each of their races were born on udyr.

the trolls are tall, green (sometimes blue) creatures with claws as sharp as razor blades, they have two horns on their heads and two sharp tusks coming out of their mouths.

the ogres are giant muscluar yellow skinned creatures, the males are known to have one eye and one horn, while felmales are know to have tow eye and tow horns.

there is another race of ogres, known as the magi, they have blue skin and often wear red lines of paint on thier skin, all members of their race dawn two horns and eyes.

thhey have inteligence above that of most other ogres and are masters of magic, but due to this they are despised by their own kind in many parts of the world and are chased into hiding, it is unkown if any magi are in udyr.

recently, the trolls and ogres have come into a pact of peace, rasing concern in other race's elders.

død- undead owned land, was once a part of the great human land, until a great necromancer launched a vicous and brutal attack from his undead army, the area was barred of by an un breakable iron gate.

the necromancer was trapped with his undead army, after 10 years, he fell to a heart attack.

he was revived by his followers upon an altar of darkness.

his skin disolved, his eyes disapeared and were replaced by a green fire.

he became a lich, and now understood the pain of undeath.

unable to cope with what he had discovered he had done, he dawned a dark robe and vowed never to show his face again.

recently, he has been suspected for the growing evil surrounding udyr.
